UNCLE Credit Union Releases 2016 Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee Election Results
June 1, 2016—LIVERMORE, CA—UNCLE Credit Union, serving Alameda, Contra Costa, San Joaquin, and Stanislaus Counties, re-elected Board Chairman Chung Bothwell and Vice Chairman Randy Werner to oversee the financial cooperative for the 2016-2017 term in its mission of promoting the financial success of its members. Bothwell begins her eighth term in this principal role and was elected by unanimous consent, as was Vice Chairman Randy Werner. As veteran officers that have both served in various capacities on the board for more than two decades, Bothwell and Werner are an integral part of a stable leadership team that has guided the credit union on its path of continued growth while ensuring its financial security.
UNCLE Credit Union Helps The Crayon Initiative Inspire Children and Reduce Landfill Waste
December 9, 2015—Livermore, CA—UNCLE Credit Union is partnering with The Crayon Initiative in their mission to provide a creative outlet for children suffering from serious illnesses while reducing landfill waste. Founded in 2013, Northern California-based nonprofit The Crayon Initiative is dedicated to collecting discarded crayons and remanufacturing them for use in hospitals that care for kids. To date, The Crayon Initiative has delivered more than 3,000 packs of recycled crayons.

UNCLE Credit Union Re-Elects Chung Bothwell as Board Chairman
June 30, 2015, Livermore, CA—UNCLE Credit Union, serving Alameda, Contra Costa, San Joaquin, and Stanislaus Counties, re-elected Chung Bothwell as Board Chairman for the 2015-2016 term. The election marks Bothwell’s seventh year in this critical leadership role. Bothwell has served as a board director for more than twenty years in varied capacities. In partnership with a strong management team and an effective and committed board membership, Bothwell has been a major contributor to the Credit Union’s growth from $1 million in assets in 1957 to more than $300 million at present. Moreover, UNCLE has developed an excellent reputation among both its members and the communities it serves.

March 16, 2015, Livermore, CA—UNCLE Credit Union has announced that it donated more than $3,249 in 2014 to two charitable organizations that serve the East Bay, Tri-Valley Haven and Children’s Miracle Network. The Credit Union raised funds through offerings available to its members, including its annual Skip-a-pay promotion and a new discount program in partnership with Sprint that has provided savings of more than $40 million to members of credit unions nationwide since its inception. UNCLE opted to give all revenue generated from the Sprint Credit Union Member Discount Program directly to Children’s Hospital Oakland, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

May 12, 2014, Livermore, CA—UNCLE Credit Union announced today that its investment services unit launched last summer—UNCLE Investment Services—in partnership with CUSO Financial Services, L.P. (CFS), has introduced a new online integrated financial planning tool, UNCLE’s Wealth Management Center. This comprehensive platform allows the credit union’s investment services clients to view online statements, trade and invest online, utilize financial calculators as well as book appointments with a CFS financial advisor at UNCLE Credit Union.
January, 2014, Livermore, CA—UNCLE Credit Union held its official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, January 11, 2014 to celebrate the opening of its new Pleasanton location at Suite A, 1987 Santa Rita Road in the Mission Shopping Plaza. The financial center, which opened its doors to members on December 23, 2013, represented a strategic decision by the credit union’s senior management and its Board of Directors to make a significant investment in its financial center in Pleasanton to dramatically improve the member experience for UNCLE members.
