We're Celebrating our Anniversary!
2022 marks the 65th anniversary of UNCLE Credit Union. Founded in 1957, four employees of the University of California Radiation Laboratory at Livermore (now Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory) founded the Radiation Laboratory Livermore Credit Union to provide financial services for the entire Lab community.

1988 - Introducing UNCLE Credit Union
Up until 1988, UNCLE Credit Union had been previously known as Radiation Credit Union. UNCLE is an acronym for University of California Livermore Employees.

1993 - Main Headquarter Building Construction
Pictured here is former UNCLE CEO, Kathie Kasper, alongside Board Members at the start of breaking ground on Main Headquarters in Livermore.

1987, 2001, & 2018 - Expansions in Tri & Central Valleys
In 1987, UNCLE expanded its branches to Pleasanton, followed by Tracy in 2001, and a 2018 acquisition and merger in Stockton.

2000 - Opened Membership Outside of Lab Community
Up until 2000, UNCLE was a credit union solely a financial institution for those working at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
