Digital Banking Account Deletion
In accordance with the latest compliance updates from Google Play Store and Apple App Store, UNCLE is committed to ensuring a smooth experience for our members. This includes providing clear instructions on how to request the deletion of your digital banking account profile. Below, you'll find detailed steps on how to proceed with your request and information on the data removed and retained during this process.
Steps to Request Account Deletion
Contact us by email at info@uncle.org – Please type “Delete Digital Banking Profile” in the subject line of your email and provide us with a contact phone number to reach you.
Data Deletion from the App
When you request the deletion of your digital banking account profile, the following data will be deleted:
- Personal Information: All personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, and phone number.
- Transaction History: All records of your financial transactions within digital banking.
- Digital Banking Data: Any data related to your interactions and usage of the UNCLE Online Banking or Mobile Banking app.
Important Details
- Upon request UNCLE will delete all associated data held in our digital and internet banking systems. This data will no longer be accessible or available to any party.
- Your credit union accounts will remain active, and your account transaction history will remain in our main system, as long as your accounts remain open. However, all digital banking data will be deleted.
- Requesting deletion of your Digital Banking profile and related data will automatically disable ancillary online banking products including but not limited to Bill Payment, Alerts & Notifications, eStatements, Zelle, Scheduled Transfers, and digital debit and credit card management. To reinstate your digital services, you will be required to re-enroll for a new digital banking profile.
