Harold Roundtree, President and CEO

Harold Roundtree is President and Chief Executive Officer of UNCLE Credit Union, a position he has held since 2011. UNCLE Credit Union is a full-service financial institution serving Alameda, Contra Costa, San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties since 1957, with over $625 million in assets. With a BS in Business Administration from California State University and an MBA from Golden Gate University, Roundtree brings with him over 25 years of senior executive management experience in the financial services industry.
Prior to joining UNCLE, he served as the Senior Vice President of the Retail Banking Division of Technology Credit Union, located in San Jose, CA, where he administrated and managed staff and projects enterprise wide, consisting of 10 Financial Centers, Mortgage Originations, Commercial, Real Estate and Consumer Lending, Private Banking, Business Banking, Business Development, and Call Centers during his tenure. Prior to this, Roundtree spent his career in various leadership roles at World Savings as a Director within the Loan Services Division and First Interstate Bank as a Vice President.
Roundtree also currently serves on the housing committee of the California Credit Union League, as chairman of the Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce, as vice president of the African American Credit Union Coalition and is a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco's Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council.
Chung Bothwell, Chairman of the Board

Chung Bothwell is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors for UNCLE Credit Union in Livermore. This is her thirteenth year serving as UNCLE Board Chairman. She has served as a Board Director for UNCLE in varied capacity from Treasurer to Chairman for over 30 years with UNCLE organization.
She has 39 years of experience and extensive working knowledge in financial resource management, proposals review for eligibility requirements, business operations, and environmental safety and health arena at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). Before coming to LLNL, she was the Budget & Cost Manager for Wisconsin Life Insurance Company, now, Central Life Assurance Company in Madison, Wisconsin.
Chung is active in the community where she lives. She has held various leadership positions besides UNCLE. Currently, she is a member of the Alameda County Central Committee, elected by the citizens of Alameda County for a 4-year term in 2021. She is a Director-at-Large for the Institute of Management Accountants, East Bay-Northern California Chapter. Previously, Chung was the former National Vice President for the Institute of Management Accountants with 90,000 members at the time. She was a Volunteer Judge for the Tri-Valley Youth Court from 2008-2018. Formerly, she was a Treasurer for LLNL Micro-Century Toastmasters, and was the Treasurer for the Lawrence Livermore Lab Women’s Association (LLLWA). She was a past Vice-Chair for the Human Relations Commission for Alameda County covering 14 cities; past Chairwoman for the Social Concerns Committee of the City of Livermore.
Chung serves as a Sacristan, Lector, and a Eucharistic Minister at St. Michael Roman Catholic church in Livermore since 2008 to present.
Bothwell received her Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in business management from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida. She also earned her Law degree (Juris Doctor) from John F. Kennedy University (2001) and a Masters of Law (L.L.M.) in Intellectual Property from Golden Gate University (2005). Chung has lived in Livermore, California since 1983. She is a Certified Credit Union Board (CCUB) from the Credit Union National Association (CUNA).
